  • Are familiar with Microsoft networking technologies

  • Valid CCNA 642-655 – WAASFE
  • CCNP is strongly recommended 642-654 – WAASSE
  • CCDA is required for SE’s These exams are required for the Advanced Routing and Switching
  • Fundamental Knowledge of Microsoft Windows networking Certification for either Field Engineers (FE) or System Engineers technologies. (SE).

    • Course Content

    This instructor led course is designed to teach delegates how to design and deploy a solution that improves application performance over the WAN while enabling infrastructure consolidation. Delegates will learn to fully appreciate the optimization and application acceleration features of Cisco WAAS enabling them to incorporate these capabilities into their design. The correct configuration and installation of the Cisco WAE is critcal if maximum performance is to be achieved and this along with the Cisco WAAS’s central management capability is covered both theoretically and through hands-on labs.

    • Explain the business value of WAN optimization and application Implement each of the Cisco WAAS application Optimizers for acceleration technologies and maximum performance
    • Understand the technologies employed by Cisco WAAS to Describe how to design and troubleshoot Cisco WAAS installations, enable consolidation while improving application performance including considerations and issues associated with platform and over the WAN network connectivity,network interception, and WAN optimization.
    • Describe the basic configuration steps required for Cisco WAAS Describe and deploy the Cisco WAAS Mobile Client solution deployment and provide a high-level overview of Cisco WAAS deployment options
    • Describe Cisco WAAS implementation, integration, and management
