COURSE CONTENTS, BENEFITS AND POSITIONING
The ICCR course reviews and enforces basic Radio Frequency knowledge as needed to implement data services over a hybrid fiber coax (HFC) network. This course will familiarize you with the Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification (DOCSIS) 1.1 and 2.0 including terminology, concepts and core protocol functionality. You will also become familiar with Cisco’s uBR7246VXR, uBR7100 Series and uBR10012 CMTS products including overviews, hardware and software component functions, system configuration and troubleshooting using hands-on lab exercises to reinforce your knowledge. This course also introduces the topics and issues of Voice over a Packet Cable network, Digital Networking Overview and the basics of Cable Security.
Prerequisites
Delegates are required to meet the following prerequisites:
- Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices (ICND) or equivalent experience
- Have attained their Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification
