Second and third level support personnel or anyone who or needs an understanding of the Cisco Unified Communications implementation e.g. Channel Partner / Reseller, Customer, Employee.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of data and voice networks. Delegates do not require any previous experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unity Connection or Cisco Unified Presence.
Course Content
This advanced level instructor-led course focuses on configuration, administration and troubleshooting of Cisco Unified Communications Manager version 8, Cisco Unity Connection version 8 and Cisco Unified Presence version 8 in single and multi-site deployments. There is a strong emphasis on lab oriented tasks for delegates to configure and troubleshoot Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unity Connection and Cisco Unified Presence. The course runs as a ‘workshop’ environment where delegates can also make use of the instructors’ consultancy skills for specific areas of interest to them. Workshop labs will start by building the initial configuration and moving on to more advanced scenarios. Students are expected to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the labs.
