This course is an introduction to the signalling prootcol known as H.323.
Course Goal
After completing this course you will have acquired a working knowledge of H.323.
H.323 operates in the popularly called Next-Generation-Network in which the
key is Voice over IP (VoIP). You will learn and recognize the terminology of H.323.
You will realize why such a protocol is necessary and be able to:

- Describe the ASN.1 definition of H.323
- Analyze H.323 messages using ASN.1
- Recognize the purpose/function of the H.323 Gateway

- Follow a call setup using H.323 messages
- Recognise the format/function of H.225.0
- Recognise the format/function of H.245
