Cisco IP Transfer Point (SS7oIP)
RRP: £2995 (plus VAT)
Duration: 4 days
Who Should Attend
This course is intended for network professionals who install, configure, maintain, support, and troubleshoot the IP Transfer Point
Prerequisites
Introduction to telecommunications, Basic telephony signalling TCP/IP and IP routing and a good understanding of SS7 and SIGTRAN is preferential.
Course Content
The primary advancement in the past 10 years in service provider (SS7) technology has been the evolution away from TDM and into IP based technology for the transfer of traditional SS7 signalling protocols and MTU™s
The Cisco IP Transfer Point (ITP) is a family of integrated traditional and IP-based Signalling System 7 (SS7) signalling solutions for service providers. In this four-day course you will be taught the primary skills required to deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, and manage the Cisco ITP.
Each lecture session is followed by related lab work to reinforce the information taught. By the end of the week the attendees will have built an actual ITP network and sent generated traffic across that network.
At NTS we employ the first certified instructors and consultants for this technology, including experience of delivery, installing and managing the ITP products in environments from Jamaica to Japan, from small scale service providers to multinational clients
